Well what can I say about myself, I am married (for far too long) and I have 2 children. Jayne-Louise who is a Secondary School Teacher and Stephen who is a serving member of the armed forces currently in Iraq. I am a Head Receptionist and I have been involved with the Miss England competition now for over 10 years.

It all started by accident, my daughter Jayne-Louise entered a local heat for the Carnival Queen and won. This led to her meeting a contact at the Miss World Office who encouraged her to enter a qualifying heat, since that meeting it has led to her winning over 24 Titles and travelling through Europe and China.

I was asked to be a chaperone for some of these competitions and when my daughter had to retire from entering the competitions I was asked to organise my own heat. Previous winners have gone on to work for the Miss England Office and our current Miss Rugby Layla Ismail is working as a full time model in London and our current Mr Rugby Matt Shepherd made it to the top 12 of Face of The Future If you want to get into the modelling industry this is a great way of getting a look at the industry and meet contacts The Miss & Mr Rugby competition is open to all UK citizens that meet the Miss England rules.

We pride ourselves on holding a nice friendly competition and see many of the same faces each year with those who are no longer eligible helping out. .
